What does 50 means?

From Alabama to Wyoming

I’ve traveled through them all

But still haven’t seen enough

Ice floes to warms bubbling springs

Canyons both grand and small

From Below Sea Level to ten thousand feet

I’ve found beauty everywhere

From open fields with barely a house or barn

To cities with buildings so thick

That the grass and trees are squeezed out

Moved to small parks and medians

Dust enough in some places to start a depression

So much water in others to flood everything

But everywhere the resilience of the spirit

To return and rebuild

Surprising cold in Hawaii

April snow in Colorado

Indian summers bring warmth

To the Mid-west

Salmon to swordfish

Clam chowder to crayfish étouffée

Philly cheese steaks to brisket

But always a good old hamburger around!

Accents abound in all directions

From Southern drawls to clipped Yankee speech

Sometimes separated by a common language

But bound together by our nation

From Quoddy Head to Ka Lae

From Point Barrow to Key West

From Denali to Death Valley

Adventure can be found on all points
