Weird Fish

I hadn’t seen the fish

It lived 250 fathoms below

At lot more than

You or I would ever go

It made it own light

How’s a fish to know

Without its own light

It might not even go

The male, the female

Is hard to tell, even all aglow

Chemical the body gives off

Is the only way to know

But with no sight and poor smell

Crashes can occur

Might you know!

Soon one becomes the other

And the other does not know!
