Take a moment for beauty!

I said to her as she rushed to her car

She seemed a bit baffled

As I pointed to the sky

She looked up and saw

The quarter moon

Shaded by thin clouds

But shining through them

She smiled and went back to her daily grind

Maybe a bit of beauty

That she will hold in her thoughts

For today and tomorrow.
